My work draws inspiration from feminine silhouettes, with two of my collections notably influenced by the iconic bullet bra—a symbol popularised by Madonna and celebrated by designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier. While my early designs embraced bright, playful colours, my recent collaborative collection with designer Alexandra O’Donovan explores a more muted palette, reflecting a growing focus on refinement and sophistication.
I’m drawn to creating pieces with a vintage sensibility, garments that feel as though they’ve been unearthed from a dressing-up box and reimagined into something contemporary and elevated. Each design aims to bridge past and present, some combining elements of couture craftsmanship—including hand beading and custom-printed fabrics featuring original etchings by visual artist Shane Malone Murphy
